We’re Hiring!
CACC is seeking experienced consultants to support our implementation of the Central Sierra Regional Compost Systems Planning Project, or "Sierra Compost," funded by the Sierra Jobs First grant program. This is a planning and capacity-building initiative serving Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Inyo, Mariposa, Mono, and Tuolumne counties in California.
The project duration is from July 2025 to September 30, 2026, and includes objectives for:
Establishing a Regional Compost Collaborative
Developing composting business and operations plans for 2 Tribal partners
Supporting 5 small-scale pilot composting sites
Hosting monthly regional meetings
Advancing workforce development, public engagement, and infrastructure planning
